Accessibility Statement

Effective

Brothers In Christ wants every person to be able to use this site — to shop, read the Good News, and reach out for prayer. This statement explains the standard we build to, what we have done, and how to tell us when something does not work for you. Effective 2026-09-08.

01Our commitment

Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought. We want the site to work for people who use screen readers, keyboards, switch devices, magnification, and voice control, and for anyone who finds motion or low contrast difficult.

02The standard we build to

This site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:

  • meaningful page structure — headings, landmarks and lists that assistive technology can navigate;
  • keyboard access to every menu, dialog, gallery, and form, with a visible focus indicator;
  • colour contrast that meets or exceeds the AA ratio for text and controls;
  • alternative text that describes every meaningful image, including garment artwork;
  • forms with clear labels, instructions, and error messages linked to the field they describe;
  • full support for the reduced-motion preference — animations are turned off when your device asks for it;
  • text that can be resized to at least 200% without loss of content, and no time limits on completing a task.

03Third-party content

Some parts of the experience are provided by other companies — for example, the secure checkout pages of our payment processor and the social platforms we link to. We choose partners who take accessibility seriously, but we cannot control their pages. If you have trouble completing a purchase, contact us and we will help you finish it another way.

04Known limitations

Some campaign photography contains stylised text; that text is also described in the image's alternative text. If you find anything else that does not work for you, please tell us.

05Tell us what is not working

Email brothersinchrist209@gmail.com with the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you were using. You can also call +1 (209) 253-2526. We take accessibility reports seriously, will reply, and will fix what we can as quickly as we can.

06Keeping this statement current

We review the site's accessibility as we add features and content, and we update this statement when anything material changes.
