What does it mean to start a BIC group?

BIC stands for Brother in Christ. What it means by starting a BIC group in your area is to start a small fellowship group with other BIC members in your area. By doing this you can do bible studies, prayer groups, conferences, fellowship, fun activities, and more.

Why should a group be started in my area?

Fellowship with good Spirit filled believers is very important to a person's spiritual life. BIC online provides for you love, encouragement, prayer, and a opportunity to build friendships. But it is important to have this in your life as well when you are not online or have no access to the Internet. Read Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, Galatians 6:2, John 13:35 and 1 Peter 1:22.

What are the requirements to have a BIC group?

BIC does have a few requirements to be able to start a group in your area.

  • There must be at least 4 brothers in your location who are already members of Brother in Christ Inc. and has had communication with one of the existing BIC board members or BIC leadership.
  • There must be a designated leader for your area. We have three forms to be filled out for those who are interested in leadership position under the covering of BIC. Application | Agreement | Affidavit
  • Someone in your group has to report to the BIC staff by email or chat at least once a month in regards to what your group is doing, what the prayer needs are, what kind of assistance is needed with the brothers and such.
